The new Sparks Apparel is in.  A great selection of shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, Soffe shorts and a whole lot more.  You can get your order form from you coach or below.  There is no obligation on anyone's behalf to purchase ... It is at their discretion.  The order deadline is October 22th but please try to get your orders in earlier.  All orders will be received by the holidays.

NJ Sparks Organization - Excellent Job the last two weeks

It was an excellent two weekends for the NJ SPARKS organization, results were as follows;
  • 10U coached by Dan Quinn lost in second round in Edison after winning three tournaments, concluded their season. On to Pequannock All Stars
  • 12U White coached by Brian Cucci concluded season winning the "Sparta Schools Out" Tournament A bracket last week. On to Pequannock All Stars
  • 12U Black coached by Ken Sigler concluded season last week winning the "Sparta Schools Out" B bracket. On to Pequannock All Stars
  • 12U out of town travel team won a Triple Crown qualifier in NY State yesterday
  • 14U Coached by John McClain won the 14U rockaway Pony Qualifier yesterday
  • 16U & Coach Veech placed in the Rockaway Pony Qualifier yesterday – finished 2nd Prior week in Iselin as well
  • 18U went 3-1-1 in the Newtown Rock College Showcase Went 3-2-1 in Pennsbury beat two gold teams before losing in ITB against a third 3-2. We have a few girls who are getting a lot of interest from colleges.  I am very proud we have come so far as a competitive respected program. It is thanks to all of you.

14U NJ Sparks Spring Challenge (Pony Qualifier)

The NJ Sparks are hosting their 2010 Sparks 14U Spring Challenge this Saturday and Sunday at Hillview School Fields in Pompton Plains NJ.  Come out and watch very competitive softball with the best teams in the tristate area playing for a bid to the Pony Nationals.  We need volunteers.  Contact Fran MaClain ( if you can lend a hand on Saturday (15th) or Sunday (16th).
